Story Time

Retelling stories is a great language arts activity for children. My niece Madelynn and I recreated the story Goldilocks and the Three Bears together.

While building the house we reviewed colours, shapes, and numbers without her even realizing she was learning. She used her imagination and creativity to design the entire house. I was simply helping with scissors and tape. 

It is amazing what young children can dream up on their own if they are given the confidence to do what they dream.
